Gujarat Police Arrest Assam Man in Interstate Cyber Fraud Probe

Gujarat Police have arrested a 35-year-old man from Assam's Barpeta district, in connection with a cyber fraud case registered at the Gandhinagar Cyber Crime Police Station. The accused has been taken to Gujarat on transit remand for further investigation.

After reaching Barpeta Police Station, the officers coordinated with local police and launched a search operation, subsequently apprehending Hussain from Dangarkuchi.

This operation was carried out with the assistance of Barpeta Police, with local officers helping the Gujarat Police team trace and apprehend the accused. After completing the required legal formalities, Hussain was handed over to the Gujarat Police team, an arrest that formed part of a broader interstate operation involving coordination between police forces in Assam and Gujarat.

Court Grants Transit Remand

Following his arrest, Hussain was produced before a local court in Barpeta. The court granted transit remand, allowing Gujarat Police to take custody of the accused and transport him to Gujarat for further investigation and interrogation.
